The Union won the Battle of Gettysburg July 1-3 1863.

Interesting facts about the battle:

It was the last time that Robert E. Lee and his army would invade the North
It is considered to be the turning point in the war for the Union
It is considered to be one of the most bloodiest battles during the war and (I believe) one of the bloodiest in all of American history
Between 46,000 and 51,000 Americans were casualties in the three-day battle.

It was the Union. It's the turning point in the Civil War, fought over 3 days (July 1-3) in 1863.

The North or the Union.. if you watch the movie it will give you a very personalized view of the war.. however it is very VERY gorey.. but it was a very stratigic battle. Many men lost their lives.
