Might we have to face that army in the future?; an army that we trained and paid for?
Are we standing by while they learn, and become experienced in fighting on their own turf?

MATT---Are you so sure that the other M.E. countries you mentioned are not looking foreward to fighting side by side w/ the new Iraqi army against the Americans?

PRODUCER---"Everything we know" doesn't seem to have gotten us all that much so far.Most American's are ready to leave in frustration.

The U.S. is also providing weapons to Saudi Arabia, Afghan warlords, Pakistan, Syria, Israel, other smaller countries.
Apparently, the logic is the trouble with the Middle East is they don't have enough weapons yet. As soon as we can arm enough of them, the region will be stable again. That's the official story anyway.
The real story is armament has become central to the U.S. economy and the weapons lobby is one of the most powerful and most active in Washington.

Well with a bit of luck the Iraqi will be paying for it with oil for a very long time, American factories will be busy for a while. This is in the hope that they will use those weapons against the Iranians and Syrians or against each other and provide a bit of activities for terrorists away from the US.

we are not paying it with our money, trust me we are going to squeeze every sent we spend there out of their gas money that is why we are not leaving, also i think they will get any kind of weaponry they want once we are out.
