My guess:
The team that beat them the most is the Tigers - that's not really a guess, because I'm positive it's them.
And the team that they beat the most is the Orioles, since they're almost 400 games above .500 in games against them.

I'd guess Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles/St. Louis Browns as the two teams - those are the only ones that have been in the AL since the beginning *and* have been in the Yankees' division since divisional play started (increasing the number of meetings). I couldn't say which is the winner and which is the loser, though.
