there is a way. you can get a video capture device. the only problem with this is there is a severe issue with lag because the software/hardware has to convert the signal over from analog to digital. this is not a big deal for movies or anything like that but you it takes a good bit of time for master cheif to jump after pressing the a button. not good for situations like that. but after understanding the problems with em, you still want one. you can find some from ATI, and you can get it from your local best buy or compusa. Best of luck to you!

You could use a pcmia card with av inputs but as the other gentleman pointed out there will be severe lag so when you make a move on control pad there will 1-2 sec b4 you see the move on the lcd by then the xbox will be way ahead of you…..

Without physically detaching your laptop display, the only way would be if your computer has a video input. Check the documentation of your graphics hardware.

Alternatively, you could buy a USB TV tuner and plug the XBox into that, but you may run into performance (lag) issues.

Using A/V or Component cables, no you can't. As going with VGA cables (the 15 pin, regularly associated with computer monitors), if your laptop has a VGA input, then you can. However, most laptops only have a VGA output, not a input. If your laptop does not have a male VGA input, then you can't.
