I had a few friends online, but that was through another site on childcare when my son was born. It was the same people, more or less, posting every day, so we got to know each other. I am not really in touch with them any more, but it was nice while it lasted. Of course, it is not the same as being friends with someone you meet in person, but i am willing to try to be your friend.
Here, it seems you do not see the same people regularly. Also since it is so open I do not make myself accessible through email or IM. Just as a precaution.

Oh, gosh, I love Popples too, they're so cute - anyway, they did have a short - lived resurgence in 2007, but they were nothing like the original product (they made noise and were totally new characters). You might have to look on Ebay for them at this point...or flea markets and antique/Goodwill stores....a friend of mine goes to those stores for his Popples, and I've found mine on Ebay (I don't get off campus much, LOL).

Hi Nickole I have friends for years now ...good people that I met trhough the internet ...how I do it ? simple let them talk and you will be judging the way they are carrying the conversation.....if you do not like to talk about something you just do not feel ok to talk to ...just click and ignore them...I had to ignore about 10000 but now I have great friends......let them talk you can also go by the questions they do....but do not stop doing it because there's good people here also

There are some good people to talk to on yahoo.. You just have to keep trying to talk to diff people. there are a lot of people that are rude and talk nasty. I would love to chat anytime
