This is how I see love:
(1) To love is to understand
(2) To love someone is to want that person to be happy, especially to put someone else before yourself
(3) In the Bible, to love your neighbor means to care for that person's soul, in other words whether you like or detest someone
(4) Love is the force, the reason for the world and what keeps it going. It is the driving force behind all life.

love means having someone you can count on, always
someone you can tell anything to without being judged
love does not have to be a sexual thing, you can love many ways but basically it's all the same, trust. Just my thoughts

Love is accepting all the faults that come with the person that you have chosen and helping them, while they are helping you, to become the best person that either could be. Sharing health, wealth, joy, sadness, sickness, depression and staying true to one another no matter what.

Love to me, means God. The Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood for me on the cross because he loved me. Not in a physical sort of way, but in the passionate way, in the way he was willing to give up everything so that I wouldn't die. To me, that is the ultimate love. I could never ask for more. Love is God, God is love. God gave up his one and only son for me, that's true love. So to me, love means everything, it means death, it means life, and most of all, it means just what you think it means, it means love.

here's my definition of love:

love is a virtue that requires hardwork. it is the result of being loyal, committed, faithful, selfless, honest, caring, thoughtful, understanding, patient, etc. these virtues work hand-in-hand to create love and happiness :)

and i don't believe in love at first sight, because that's lust... love is the inner bond that allows one person to be happy with another person in any kind of situation--whether happy, sad, or angry. of course attaining true love is not simple. one has to work on it all the time...
