I'm looking for a good psychologically intriguing book! I've read One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, A Clockwork Orange, The Bell Jar, Sybil, 1984, and thats as far as I can remmber. I'd love to read any book with a good twist as well. Thanks for the help!

Darn, I was just about to suggest Sybil. But if you want something similar to 1984, try Brave New World. It's basically 'positive' oppression - they control people by making them happy. It's excellent, you should check it out.

Oh, and Jonathan Kellerman writes a series about a psychologist who consults on police cases. The situations are a little far-fetched sometimes, but there is plenty of 'psychological intrigue'. I quite enjoy them, maybe you will too.

The Giver and Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry

The best twist ever is Eva by Peter Dickinson

Psychologically, try The Historian by Kostova, or Atlas Shrugged or The Fountainhead by Rand

Try "We Need to Talk About Kevin" by Lionel Shriver. It's told in the form of letters from a woman to her husband. It's about how she felt about him and their children, especially their son Kevin, who turned out to be a mass murderer. There's a twist at the end that I don't want to give away so I can't say much more than that. Really good, dark book.
