If you want to just give the standard report, you follow the Warren Commision findings that Oswald acted alone.
However, if you want to get into all the conspiracy theories - get your hands on Mark Lane's books "Rush To Judgment" and "Plausible Denial" and Jim Marrs' book "Crossfire." Those are probably the three best, most well-researched and most sensibly written of all the Kennedy conspiracy books on the market - and there are tons of them out there.
The fact that Oswald didn't act alone has never been proven although its almost a 100% certainty that there was a second gunman on the so-called "grassy knoll." There's too much evidence showing that to be the case, starting with films from that day when everyone in the immediate area is pointing to the knoll area and looking in that direction. No one is looking in the direction of the Schoolbook Depository.
Hope your teacher wants a long paper because it's virtually impossible to get into the conspiracy angle in just a few pages.

Go to Ebay and buy this dvd. This is a dvd that has lots of facts and supports a new theory that I haven't heard of before. I purchased it about a month ago and have viewed it about 3 times to catch all the stuff in the documentary. Very interesting stuff! The link to the item is in the source list below. According to all legal records that case was solved & closed with Oswald being the killer. Look up archives.gov/research/jfk
I read & heard about it when it happened. I was in 3rd grade but it was major news even to a 3rd grader.
