I know of the "clutch" type, but what if there's an arm strap and a neck strap?

its still called a clutch purse. at least that is what this TGirl has always been told. i may be wrong, but that is what i have always been told.

If there is an arm strap or a neck strap on the little purse it is still called a clutch purse.

It is called an evening bag; an evening bag is usually a clutch. A clutch is just a type of purse/bag. What makes it an evening bag is that it is fancy. Most evening bags have a shoulder strap that is inside the bag; you can wear it either way.

I would definitely go with a clutch. I just saw on the tv the other day that clutches are a hot item right now with celebrities! Check out InStyle magazine to get some ideas of a clutch that'll go with your dress.
