Can I wait my old prom dress?? It's just a long black dress with a small train. It has a gliter look to it and its a low back.

Just so you all know, prom was only 2 years ago and I LOVE this dress...I want to wear it more then once. The train does not come off, but its very small. I also wore it in a pagent as my formal dress. It's so pretty and it does not make me look 17 again. I really want to wear it but I don't want to be over dressed.

As long as you feel comfortable in the dress wear it. After all most people cannot even fit in their prom dress after getting married. To compliment that dress just wear an elegant hairstyle, if the hair is long use an up sweep. You will be a knock -out.

I would probably take the dress into the tailer and have the train removed thats a bit over the top and might be a bit backwards for this party. but you can still wear the dress you like. you'll probably get more wear out of it also if you get the train taken off. or even hemed different at the bottom.

if it's semi-formal, you probably need to go with a shorter dress--maybe a knee-length coctail dress. black is always a safe color to choose.
