Oh! There's so many! How about:

1) Is the love of money the root of all evil?
2) Two bible verses: Faith without works is dead vs. the just shall live by faith alone.
3) There are no more orphanages, but there are still children without parents... was it a mistake to get rid of orphanages?
4) America: love it or leave it. Is there a third choice?
5) Is America the greatest country in the world, or has its time passed?
6) Did the Supreme Court make a correct ruling in "Bush vs. Gore" for the 2000 election?
7) Would we be at war in Iraq if Gore had won the 2000 election?
8) Should English spelling and grammar be reformed?
9) Should America switch to the metric system?
10) Would we have more or less crime if illegal drugs were legalized?

write something about the war in Iraq, that's the most debatable thing around right now. Some other topics are:

whether or not to be an organ donor (you can find tons of info. on this)

whether or not todays teenagers are affected by violent games and movies,

or you could choose something simple, like "which is better, dogs or cats?" Or something like that. Good luck, I hope you find something useful here!
