God's Country
Arkansas is one of the most beautiful states in the nation

I used to think of Bill Clinton or people that weren't educated. I was wrong, though. This state is busting at the seams with colleges and universities. I think the Northwest corner of the state is beautiful with lots of mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and forests. It's great if you like a lot of outdoor activities. The people are pretty nice, too. Although, I have seen my share of camo trucks and denim overalls since I moved here over a year ago. There are just as many "rednecks" here as the rest of the South. I can say that because I'm Southern! Yee-haw!

Just a state that I've been to a few times; pretty for the most part, although a little warmer than I like. Lots of my mom's family lived there a few generations back, before they came to Texas just west of Texarkana.

I chuckle because most people tend to refer to the state and the river the same way. The river is pronounced Ar- Kan-sass while the state is pronounced Ark-in-saw.
