Hello!
Some good books for animation would be Cartoon Animation by Preston Blair and The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams. The second book is really good. The author is an animator himself and he explains each movement with illustrated drawings. It has like every run, walk, hop, movement imaginable in animation. It is very good to have if you are interested in learning animation. The Cartoon Animation book is also helpful, and is much shorter. It is good because it has basic runs, walks, but also it has character expressions and development. Both are good to have. I have both of them, and I like them a lot. Very helpful!! For Illustration, I do have one book, I recently got it and haven't read too much of it yet. But it seems like it is full of helpful info, and illustrations. It is Illustrating Children's Books by Martin Salisbury. There are tons more books out there for animation and illustrating, but I would definately recommend these ones. Hope this helps!! :)

There are many books for illustration. Some are for manga and anime, some for pencil sketches and some are for painting. Try going to a bookstore or a library to find some.
