I LOVE ALL SIX
SO ,IT IS DIFFICULT TO CHOOSE
BUT ,I CAN DEFINITELY SAY THAT THE FIRST THREE WERE FAR BETTER
AMONG THEM ,I LOVE "A NEW HOPE"
AND "THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK"
THE BEST HAS TO BE "THE EMPIRE"
EASILY THE BEST SEQUEL EVER MADE
IT CARRIED ON THE STORY BEAUTIFULLY
AND THE DRAMA ,THE ACTION AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS JUST A TAD BIT BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE
IT IS TOUGH TO MAKE SEQUELS .....ESPECIALLY AFTER THE FIRST ONE DID SO WELL
TO THEIR CREDIT , NOT ONLY DID THE MAKERS MATCH IT ,BUT PERHAPS EVEN SURPASSED THEMSELVES
AND BECAUSE HAD IT BEEN BADLY MADE ,THE STAR WARS SAGA WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN WHAT IT IS TODAY

Either Episode 5 or 6 were the BEST because that was when you had the whole Leah and Han thing going on and Luke grew up. Episodes 1-3 were terrible.

I am a LONG time fan of all 3. And even though I grew up only knowing of the original trilogy....I do have to say that Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith is the best. The reason.....we see how Vader becomes who he is, how he was driven to the dark side. The confusion, the anger, the feeling of not knowing your purpose and then being mislead. And Obi-Wan gives the greatest line...."You were the chosen one. It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. You were to bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness." And we do find that in Return of the Jedi....Anakin finally DOES destroy the Sith and balance the force. And it is, by far, the darkest of all six (take for instance...the slaying of Younglings, beheading of Dooku....).

Wow. I think I really like Empire. I mean, "New Hope" was a smash, and Jedi had Leia in a gold bikini and Ewoks and that thing with C-3P0 being honoured, but I love the Jedi training on Dagobah and the Bespin lightsaber battle.
Totally tough call. Empire by a hair. I also love how everyone ignores that kiss on Hoth. YOU KNOW the one I'm talking about!

Episode V (The Empire Strikes Back) and episode VI (Return of the Jedi), I think both were awesome than other episodes.

Episode 5: the Empire Strikes Back... Not only a sad ending, where you want to see the good guys come back...but it also makes you leave the movie with sinking feeling in your stomach.

Return of the Jedi. i like it how it all turns out to be good in the end. i love this movie because of the feeling it gave me when i have first seen it. Evil turns good. they are finally free...
And a lot i liked episode three. but it's the reverse of return of the jedi. all becomes bad. and the special effects, the lines, the characters are amazing.

I like episode 6 due to it pulling the entire story together. But my favorite planet in all 6 is Kamino.

The Empire Strikes Back....it stands alone as a great film AND is a great 2nd act in the three act play that is the first trilogy...
The greatest lines are in that movie...the best scenes...the coolest music...and all the characters have their moment in the sun...
Kenobi: "You will go to the Degoba system..there you will learn from YODA...the Jedi master who instructed me..."
Leia: "I'd just as soon kiss a Wookie"
Solo : (after Leia says she loves him)..."I know"
Chewie: He LAUGHS after Leia says to Solo "I don't know where you get your delusions laser brain.."
Vader: "I am your father!" "I am altering the deal! Pray I don't alter it further.." "Perhaps you feel you're being treated UNFAIRLY?"
Luke: His duel rocks, as does his reaction to the bad news...
C3PO: "Oh no! I've been Shot!"
R2D2: bleeping and swearing at 3po...
Yoda: (Luke says he doesnt believe what he just saw).."That is why you fail.."..."No...there is another.."
C'MON!!! Solo and Leia smooch...
Boba Fett introduced..."He's no good to me dead"
Imperial Probe Droids...Imperial Walkers...AT AT's ...Yoda...

Has to be one of the original movies. Probably Return of the Jedi.
