Corkage is not regulated anywhere in the world. That's why they call it corkage. The price is dictated by the owner of the place. In my restaurants before I don't charge any because you entice them to drink and then they order food to go with their drinks. I had to put a stop to it when some groups will just bring their drinks and spend the whole night and order very little-in the meantime we provide them glasses, ice, and service. Now I charge a little to value clients and high price for freeloaders.

You want to save on corkage? Make friends with the owners LOL

I don't think it's regulated anywhere. Just like any other kind of business, the owner dictates the price. Each restaurant charges differently based on whatever circumstances.

Different restaurants have different rent to pay and they have to make up the money somehow!
