1) How do you rescue somebody?
2) How do you send an A-ok?

ok, let's pretend that both you and I play this game. i'm actually right before the dungeon that mewtwo is in - and you're ... somewhere else. oh yea, let's just say, for the heck of it, that you are playing the blue game on the DS and i'm playing the red game on the GBA (it really doesn't matter)

1) "How do you rescue somebody?"

well, while you were playing, your leader died. it was sudden. and violent. and it stunk. so the game asks if you wanted to send out a distress signal. you say YES! then it will ask if you want to do it wirelessly or by password. since you and I are probably in different cities, let alone states, you choose password. it will give you a 54 digit password, which if you lose it, you can start your game, and instead of going to "continue" you go to "friend rescue" > "get help" > "password"

2) "How do you send an A-OK?"

so then i go and rescue you and when i get to the part that you died at, it will be a monster house - and there will be a flag. that flag represents the person that is being rescued. after i touch the flag, i will get another 54 digit password. i email that back to you, and you start your game, go to "friend rescue" > "get help" > "password" and enter the code i give you. this code is called an AoK mail.

3) "What is an A-ok?"

an A-ok is a code that lets a game know that it has been rescued. after the A-OK is entered, your party will be at full health, and full stomachs, and have all of their moves PP replenished. you will also be at the spot that you died at.

4) "How do you get a thank you letter?"

so then after you send a thank you letter, and give me the code, i go to the post office and to the pelliper on the right, and tell him i'd like to receive thank you mail. he then asks me for the 54 digit password, and when i enter it, i get your thank you mail, and the rescue points associated with it

5) "How do you SEND a thank you letter?"

after you get rescued and go to town again, you can *choose* to go to the post office, and to the pelipper on the right. you can talk to him and tell him that you would like to send a thank you mail. he'll ask if you want to also give me an item. perhaps you would give me a pink gummi that i want so bad. pellipper will then give you ANOTHER 54 digit password. you will email me that last password, and that is a thank you letter.

You rescue someone by accepting a letter on the Bulletin Board near the Post Office, then confirm the rescue in your mailbox. Next, gather your team and go down the path south of your Rescue Base. The rescue mission location will have an opened letter icon next to it

An A-ok and thank you letters are for when you're linked up with another player and they rescue your team. You send them at the Pelipper Post Office.
