How Do I Hide In NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED?

I play Need For Speed Most Wanted. In the challenge series, I play the game i manage to hit the pursit and immobolize the police vehicles. But when i go into the hide out icon, i dont noe wat key to enter! And i loose in the the game! Please Help!

You're supposed to just drive in right into the middle of the cooldown circle and stop then it should work and the police won't be able to find you. That's whats supposed to happen. I've never had that problemwith my challenge series.
