Just because I flirt with there boyfriends and get raises at work very often doesn't mean they should be so mean to me. I'm like so totally nice to them.

Too bad... sounds like your friend has some deep rooted insecurities and is envious of the beautiful and attractive girls she sees. Your friend should realize that it is far more rewarding if you can actually compliment others for things they may have been blessed with or are good at. To be gracious is so appealing and draws people to you. To be catty and down putting of people you know nothing about is a huge turn off! The best thing to do would be that every time she puts someone down you counteract her matter of factly..."actually I think she's really pretty" and leave it at that. I'll bet if you do that a lot she'll soon not make those sorts of derogatory marks around you anymore because you refuse to join in....

The raises at work, I assume, are because you are good at your job. But you are not being "totally nice" to other girls, pretty or not, when you flirt with their boyfriends. That is rude and inconsiderate. If you want these other girls to stop "talking trash" about you, start by apologizing to the girls for flirting with their guys--and then stop the flirting for good!

well if you are flirting with their boyfriends that probably makes them a little mad. The fact that you get raises pretty often probably makes them jealous. Come on you can't see it? You are what they want to be, it's like something you see off a tv show or a movie. I know I'd rather be your friend and hope i get some of the good luck instead of being a hater.

Believe me, I know how you feel.
IT'S SIMPLE:
You are probably skinny and pretty and they are fat and Fugly. all the guys like you, and they dont like them. SOOOO.....
JEALOUSY? hello.
They want what they cant have: to look like you.
so dont stress it. and the more you ignore those other girls, the more those guys(and everyone else) will realize how idiotic those other girls are. (Jealousy is a big turn off)
Just try and make sure you arent doing things to annoy them more like: flirting with their boyfriends, flaunting, etc.
But my guess is you probably didn't do really anything to them. But don't let them get you down, and dont be nice to them.
Its funny because when you are a really pretty girl,
other girls(people you barley know) either really LOVE you or really HATE you.
The girls that hate you are just jealous. And the girls that seem to like you TOO much automatically want to be you or they think if they hang out with you, you will attract guys
