My friends and I are planning to move to Europe for a year and work. I was wondering which place would be the best to live.

I have lived in a few different European countries. My favorite so far, by far, has been Vienna, Austria. I speak German, but even if you don't, most people there can speak English, and because there are lots of tourists, some things are in English, too. It's a beautiful old city, lots of fun to see/live in. I was there for four years.
With public transportation, you pretty much don't even need a car. And if you need to travel somewhere else, trains are great, and not too expensive. Also, Austria borders on 7 other countries. So it's easy to go out and see new places. It's also a very clean city, unlike other large cities.

i love uk...but u should kno it rains a lot but it is my fav place in europe...italy, spain, greece or portugal r nice, the wether is sooooo much better, people r really friendly and everything is cheaper in those countries (if u compare tehm with the north of europe, etc.)but they dont speak english (i know cause i'm spanish)...my suggestion is to go to a country in the north of europe such as holland or netherlands...the style of life is really good in those countries, most of the people speak many languages, f.e. english, spanish, german, french, etc.
good luck!!!
