You are a very dedicated fan, that is much to respect. I like Shania Twain, always have. I have a favorite singer that I am very much dedicated to. But a mile too far is a mile too far, and she will remain unnamed for reasons that are mine.
To answer your question....
She started out singing in bars as a child after hours. She did this to support her siblings. Her first proffesional performance was at age 13 on a tv show called Tommy Hunter.
So, there you go. And I am not and do not wish to be Shania Twain, or anyone famous for that matter.
