-OR- You could enter your formula with parenthesis to keep it clear...however Excel will calculate it correctly with or without parenthesis.
=(D4/926.5)-(21*7.805)

Does anybody know how to put the formula with excel to do ie [ d4/926.5-21*7.805] ?
=D4/926.5-21*7.805.
If you don't have the "=" Excel doesn't know you are entering an equation. Starting with a "D" Excel things you are putting in something text.

on the excel.. click the equal button(align with the cell address in the toolbar.) paste your formula... enclose it with parenthesis..
