Don't put in on a resume. If it is a part time job, and you do need to include it for some reason, people should not have an issue with it. Someone may make a little joke of it, if anyone is THAT prudish, and did not hire you because you worked at Hooters, then you probably would not want to work there anyway.

I used to work at hooters and You don't have to tell other employers that you worked there. I guess u could but u don't have to. I've gotten jobs without listing hooters.

Isn't Hooters a good job?
Are you fishing for some really seedy replies?
No, I would hire you and wouldn't hold Hooters against you. OR
No, I'd hire you, if you were good with hooters they are good enough for me.
In reality, do you need to put Hooters on your resume if you think that it might detract from your being hired? It's not like you have a criminal record and are failing to disclose it.

That's a good question! Future interviewers might see it as inappropriate. But you could politely respond that you had to deal with difficult customers. Your best bet is to ask some of the workers at Hooters(possibly some friends) to see what they believe. Good luck!

If you're questioning it like this, doesn't that tell you something? Hooters is not at all the most respectable place to work! Trust me, don't chance it!

In a couple of years you won't even list them.
Go ahead and work at Hooter's, have a blast!!

I wouldn't think so, employers look at youre work history( like were you a good employee, did you miss a lot, were you a trouble-maker, did you try to better yourself) . But if you I were you I would go ahead and put it on my resume they will find out anyway, it might help you. they might think you were being truthful and this certainly would not hurt you.

Should have no negative impact what so ever. If they do look down on that you probably wouldn't want to work for them anyway. A job is a job and in this economy if you have one it should be a plus!!! Good luck

Seriously, I would. My big boobs and I are not friends and I've hated that people judge me because of that one feature. I had to work even harder to be taken seriously in business, fight the stereotype that I was a tramp, endure endless leers and inappropriate comments. I don't appreciate a business that perpetuates the stereotype and profits from it.
