consider this:

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

so why not. Just don't let the herb (or the religion) rule your life.............

Sure, why not? Christianity far outdates the criminalization of marijuana. There are plenty of other things which are legal to do but which are a religious sin. There's no direct correlation between the law and Christianity.

Why not?? You can be a Christian and drink, smoke cigs., cuss, and have pre-marital sex. You just have to be able to quit, and ask God's forgiveness.
