i am trying to buy a winter formal dress but i want to make sure i pick a color that will look nice on me. Can u help?

fuchsia all the hues of green
but you can consider bronze and silver in the metallics color area
a "Goddess"!!!

I don't see why the purple, dark, black, red, green and yellow wouln't look good on you especially considering thier are so many variations of those colors. I say wear them (its hard to judge w/out a photo), but I have a relative that's asian and about the complexion you describe and she looks awesome in all those colors.

I think white, cream, off white colors look gorgeous on dark skin tones.

Black. I'm sorry, but i'm olive-dark, and black is the bomb!!! as long as you have some good eye shadow on and your makeup looks great, you will look rockin in black. Make sure you take care of your black clothes, or else they will look all faded and grungy. Black goes with everything, makes you look professional, and its slimming and sexy.

try light colors because dark colors would make you look more darker.
