I guess it can as long as the sex problem comes along later and there are enough other things to keep the couple together. However, the spouse who wants and isn't getting sex will probably go elsewhere. I am the mistress of a man who has been married for 30 years and has a good marriage but no sex.

Depends on the two people involved, how much they love each other and want to be together. Many people have problems due to age, medications, etc, and that doesn't have to mean the end of your life. Sex is a great part of marriage but not the most important. I would go for love, intimacy in other ways, caring, closeness, romance, passion. There are lots of things to hold a marriage together, honesty and faithfulness are most important to me.

yes, because there's more to life and a marriage than sex.
People put way too much importance on sex in this day and age.

Well guess it can if both partners dont like it. But I really dont see how it can that is if sex isnt mutual . I frankly dont see how it could as in ummm I have been having sex with my hubby for years. So guess im not an expert in the field of no sex in marriage.

It probably can, but sex is a very important part of being married so I would say that it may work, but could cause strains in the marriage that may require counseling or spiritual direction.

no, at least not with me, also if there's no sex between a married couple then there will be with other people which will then cause them to cheat on eachother, Also there is no marriage without good sex - same reason for no sex

It depends on how both of the people in the marriage feel about it.
If one person liked sex and another didn't then it might not work out.

The only time I see that working is when two people are truly in love and one or the other has a medical problem prohibiting sex. No one should refuse their spouse otherwise and without good reason, refusing your spouse will eventually break up the marriage.
So in general.... I'd say no.

Why get married? I guess that would work after about 30 years of marriage!
