As you can see from the answers here, who makes the best pizza is almost always subjective to the individual. In the USA, it is generally accepted that you can find one of the Best Tasting Pizzas in the country at Pepes in New Haven, Connecticut. Connecticut locals grant some semblance of competition from Sally's in the same town but many not from the area say otherwise.

The best local pizza place in Houston would Star Pizza! Tons of ingredients and lots of sauce!

I don't know for sure, but a small Mom & Pop Pizza place in Gahanna, Ohio took the world champion pizza trophy in Italy last year.

the best tasting pizza n the world is red angel pizza n hicksville,oh. so mouthwatering very cheesy, homemade sauce & a reasonable price. i would recommend anyone to try red angel pizza the ultimate best n the world.
