you need to get the chip and cut and splice the wires for the speed sensor, unless its somekind of mechanical limitor, but I havent heard of that

I don't recommend bypassing it. It's there for a reason. The reason, the quad will very unstable / uncontrollable (at speeds past the rev limiter) if you were to turn the handle bars. If you hit a bump and the quad changes direction slightly while the rear wheels are off the ground - when the wheels touch the ground, you'll have to turn the bars to compensate for the turn. Resulting in a high side tip over.
