No way, he has too much power now. No one can touch him. He can declare martial law at the drop of a dime for no reason and then stay in power for as long as he wants. Cheney is worse than Bush but not many realize it because all we see is Bush.

We can always hope for that resignation. But, resigning would take admitting that he was wrong, and Bush would never admit that. It would also take a certain amount of courage - and he's sorely lacking in that category as well despite his outstanding record in the military where he served so valiantly during the Vietnam conflict.
