Does anyone know how I would go about starting an independent newspaper on a college campus? There is already a paper on our campus that is university-sponsored, but it's god-awful. Before you suggest that I get on the staff of that paper and do something about it - it's university sponsored, and therefore university controlled, and I have been on the staff for the past year, pulling my hair out.
So... anything? Publishing information? Is it just a matter of funding? Anything you can tell me?

you would most likely have a hard time convincing anyone that your school needed another weekly or daily newspaper. The best option would be to get funding from what ever organization on campus supports student groups and start another publication however they would most likely not giver you much funding

hmm i are not getting it. your mothers and fathers has no longer requested you to flow away the homestead, and u % to flow away the homestead? living with mothers and fathers does not unavoidably equates to you being no longer self sufficient. if u sense undesirable approximately nonetheless living and based financially on them, as a replace of leaving the homestead, u can initiate by ability of offering to pay some costs. and get your very own automobile that u pay with ur very own money or some thing. i in my opinion thinks living with mothers and fathers is super!!!!!. I left my homestead whilst i became 13, yet then that became because of the fact i became examining distant places, yet when I had to return for a 365 days, some years back, i lived with my mothers and fathers, and that i dun somewhat see the version. different than for having somebody to cook dinner for me :P.... and in this contemporary disaster... i in my opinion see so plenty extra mature people... (25 and above) returning to stay with mothers and fathers to shop costs. oh properly wish this helps.
