Ask them if they are honest, and if they laugh or hesitate, no matter what the answer is, they really are not honest. Honesty is not a joke nor is it something that a real honest person would be hesitant to answer.

They look you in the face and don't stutter! Also, you can ask them questions a few days later to see if they say the same thing

Ask them straight forward. "Are you honest?" See how they reply.

If they look you straight in the eyes without flinching or eradic behaviour unless they are a salesman.

look them in the eyes, if there not talking eye to eye to you by eye contac, sometimes there not honest,
