Ok i have an HP Pavillion1230n.... it has an 200gb hard drive, Amd Atholon64 2.00 ghz processor, 1gb of Ddr ram, and a Ati Radeon Express200, Basically everything it came with stock.

Well i want to upgrade it, you know better quality, cool features, not necessarily software, but it can be any sort of accesory.

I dunno if it helps but my computer/monitor/and speakers all put off a blue light when turned on

It has one PCI Express x 1 slot. You can install a video card which would be an improvement over Ati Radeon Express200, which is onboard video.
There are a few PCIEx1 video cards.

Your computer has pretty solid settings. You can replace your onboard video card with a "real" video card, such as an ATI x1600 or better depending on how much you want to spend. This will improve your gaming performance. If you don't game, then I would leave everything as is.

You can always upgrade your RAM and processor. Unless you tell us what you use your computer for, it's difficult to say whether it is necessary or not.

Just to upgrade for the sake of upgrading is not the best way to approach upgrading.

Your question makes little experience. Alienware is a waste of money. Its for individuals who don't understand plenty approximately computers and cant build one themselves. Sounds appropriate for you.
