I didn't know there was this english translation. However I think It's a bit distorted.
When we sing our anthem we only use the first two of the 158 lyrics of it which are:
"Σε γνÏÏÎ¯Î¶Ï Î±ÏÏ Ïην κÏÏη
ÏοÏ
ÏÏÎ±Î¸Î¹Î¿Ï Ïην ÏÏομεÏή.
Σε γνÏÏÎ¯Î¶Ï Î±Ï'Ïην ÏÏη
ÏοÏ
με βια μεÏÏάει Ïην γη.
ÎÏ'Ïα κÏκκαλα βγαλμÎνη
ÏÏν ÎλλήνÏν Ïα ιεÏά
και Ïαν ÏÏÏÏα ανδÏειÏμÎνη
ÏαίÏε,Ï,ÏαίÏε ελεÏ
θεÏιά"
The greeklish version is written above..I will give my translation...I hope it's right but it will surely be more approaching than the one given above.
These lyrics are an adress to freedom so:
"I know(recognize) you from the dreadful cut of the sword
I know(recognize) you from the looking(the face) that counts the earth with violence.
Derived from the holy bones of the Greeks
and full of bravery as firstly
hail,oh,hail freedom."
ok I found sth..I think here there is a better and more explicative translation.U can also listen to the music of the anthem... http://www.geocities.com/vienna/strasse/3266/greece.html

You have the translation above but i think the one that "fysikaellinida" gave is the best to describe it. The whole poem is very big so we only sing the first two parts.
