No, It'll be a pretty big insult to the ones that gave you that name.

Weirdest thing ever, but I've always loved the word dust. It's so ... cute! Very wispy and stuff. It kind of reminds me of what someone might name their dog, but I like it anyway =p
Unique names are often the coolest ones. I know that I'll never know a Dusti in my life! People will remember you by your name. "Oh yeah, I met this girl named Dusti.." Nobody's ever gonna go, "You mean Dusti Smith?" (for example). Because there's only one Dusti and that's YOU

For your career's sake, I think it might be a very good idea. Choose a first name that's not "creative," not cute, and avoid alternative spellings.
I changed the ugly surname I was born with. It cost $75.00 at the lawyer's and a few minutes to fill out some forms. It was no big deal.

If you feel like you should change it then go right ahead. But make sure. If you want someone's opinion ask someone you trust. Like your mom or best friend. My opinion is yeah. But it really depends on what you think. Hope I helped.

Since you are the one that has to "wear" it, you should be comfortable with it. If you don't like the one you have, by all means, change it to one that you like. It's not like we have a name shortage, or something.

if you want to, but it's really not bad. ask your parents why they gave you that name because who knows? there might be a really nice story behind it. plus, you've got to like knowing that you don't have a common, overused name!
