sex is important but each couple needs to find out how important it is to them. as you get older, the priority drops considerably. if they're happy, who are we to judge their lifestyle?

I heard on the radio that it's over 10%. I don't know if I can believe that. It seems like an awful lot. I hope these people can work it out. Sex between a married couple who love and respect eachother is one of lifes pleasures. I can't imagine having a sexless marriage. It must feel pretty lonely emotionally and physically.

Well, are they an older couple? Sometimes older people are looking for companionship when they marry, and even if they aren't older, sex shouldn't be the reason why they got married. Sex should be used as one of the many ways to express love. That dosen't mean it is the only way.
Also, perhaps he has ED? If she wants to have sex, perhaps they could turn try medication?

Actually it's very common to most of my Asian friends. Once married they consider other things more important than sex. Like boosting up their wealth and getting ahead in life. Before marriage most girls and guys will have sex as much as we do and while dating their future wife they might do it but once married they may have sex only to concieve (have kids). But then I'm not Asian but I have lots of them for friend. Chinese, Japanese and Thai! It works for them and they don't complain much!

Sure enough, we have to see just how old they are. I believe lesser sex but not sexless unless if one party is unable to due to some problem. If both are healthy, even masturbate for each other can be part of a sex life....

Probably more common than people would admit to. Although I would think it would be after years of marriage, and not at the beginning.
