I am 43. And I have kids as young as 15 who think they are in love with me. Is more lust and infatuation. They are kids. My oldest is 23. Youngest is 6. I adore kids. Just honor what they feel about you to a degree. Leave it at that. I have many male admirers. I have as many female friends as well. That is such a great thing. My children honor me as well. As I do all of them. Don't let this make you crazy. Use good judgment in spite of your challenges. Rise above it all. It is great to be so popular. Even when is uncomfortable at times. Is all good. As long as you keep your morals in check. Set the example in your life. I have in mine.

There can be many reasons for this depending on the age. With the younger guys e.g. 15 yrs old, I personally feel that they think older women are willing to do the things younger girls may be reluctant to do. You're more seasoned and in turn you're going to make them feel like a man. Especially if they aren't taken seriously by their fellow counterparts. Older women gives them that emotional security.
For the older guys e.g. 24, they turn to older women because women in their age ranges either are not settled (still running wild) or not clear of what they want in terms of a relationship. So they turn to an older woman in hopes that she provide them with stability.

Now specifically, you should examine what it is that you do to attract males or what it is that usually attracts them. You might be 32 years old but look great or still act like you're in your early twenties. You also mentioned that the marriage isn't going well. Unconsciously, this may be transcended into your conversations as you speak with these fellows. They may see a woman that deserves more than she's getting in the marriage(i'm just assuming here, i don't know the situation). Just like an injured seal in open waters.
Then as you said you may be a mother figure to some. In this case you really have to know the guy's background and reason for their feelings for you.

But all in all enjoy the attention and nothing more.

That's my best jab at your question. hope it helped.

Depending on the difference in age, some men like to be "mothered" as in nurtured, others like women who are older and successful so they can assume the financial responsibility for them and they will have a free ride, others like woman who are assured and sophisticated, and sometimes it's just good chemistry that happens between and older woman and a younger man. Woman who are matured are also less likely to play silly games or cling too much, so that's a plus for some men who want sex, but no commitment.

For the same reason young girls go for older guys. The maturity and steadiness of older people are appealing. Just enjoy the attention.

Men go for women that are in their sexual prime....around 26-42....When men are older they go for that range even when they are older. When I was 19 I dated a 27 year old, in my 20's a 35 year old, and recently in my forties a 26 year old.
