You have to decide what you want to be like you wanna be like Lil weezy and Hova and really rappin about somethin or be like Jibbs and all those fake behind artist just rappin about some stupid off the wall thing or dance i mean if you need to get ur foot in the door then come out with a good gay song and let ur next single be the real you. In my hood good rap songs have meanin they aint just talkin crap they don't know nothin about and they got a good beat to rock to

I guess... but anyway... you have to have a unique sound .... be able to rap about the streets to makin' love..... also I think too it's who you know now days..... b/c alot of these rappers are famous b/c a already famous rapper introduced them to the world...... so get with people who will do the same for you.... and one day... when you are rich & famous you might have to help out a starving artist......
