I absolutely hate it when people tell others what happens before they have watched the show themselves. I will not say what but the news themselves spoiled the O.C. for be by revealing the end of the third season. It was in the headline so there was no way to avoid it. Why do people feel compelled to do such things? I recently asked to compare the 4400 (in whic made explicited clear I had not seen the last two season of 4400) with the X-files and someone spoiled it for me by revealing several key events. I don't know about you all but when I was a kid I did not want to know what was in my present till after I opened it. That was half the fun. Doesn't it only make sense to warn people with the word in bold SPOILER so at least you have a choice?

I'm with you there...it makes me mad but sometimes my friends especially can't hold it in even though i really want to see it for myself! i mean you sit at home watching the suspenseful show not knowing what will happen next so engrossed that your popcorn just stays in the same spot your hand is because your frozen in suspense. ok well you get the picture...that doesn't happen when people tell an ending. i won't tell my friends stuff unless they specifically ask me. in my words friends dont let friends ruin the endings of shows that you have been waiting all season to see. lol ok im done now

I don't like it either. Reminds me of a time when a group of us were watching Jeopardy. When it came time for final Jeopardy, I asked that no one just blurt out the answer to give others a little longer to try to come up with the answer.
Well, the final question came up and within seconds one guy blurted out the answer. I was furious.
I think people that ruin a show by telling what is going to happen are just so self-centered that they can only think of themselves and I try to avoid being around them especially when watching a show.

You and the rest of the world feel that way when some %$#@&^% tell you the end of a game etc.
If this person is your relative, avoid avoid avoid him or her like a plague during the days of important events.
They are usually oblivious to the importance for you. And they cant keep their mouth shut.
Sigh. Buy earplugs or ear phones and turn that MP3 player on. That would help.

I agree with you. It is very rude for people to do things like that unless you specifically ask what happened. I don't understand why some people are so inconsiderate to do such things but that's why I don't talk to people about TV shows unless I'm up-to-date on them. That way if something comes up that I'm not supposed to know yet, I've only got myself to blame.

Whenever somebody does that I feel very frustrated and angry because I wanted to see it with the suspense not somebody telling me and thwn I watch it. It just takes the fun out of the show.

I really don't care. If the show truly is good, then it will pull the viewer back into it, and make the viewer enjoy it regardless of the sopiling. Thanks for the points.
