The single Europa and the Pirate Twins is great from 1981.
Another great single is I scare myself from 1984. And let's not forget he produced albums for Prefab Sprout. Steve McQueen from 1985 is fantastic.

I agree with Henry above, Europa is good as well as Hyperactive...he also played with Foreigner on Foreigner 4...remember that mournful keyboard intro on Waiting for a girl like you? He also played on the album Pyromania for Def Leppard, but is credited as Booker T. Boffin, due to the fact that he was under contract to a different record label at the time...

It's hardly fair to pick on Thomas Dolby.
So many bands existed who were... an acquired taste.
Besides, given that the average pop song ran to "Baby I love you" or "It's time to party", "She blinded me with science" was a radically different, infintely more interesting message.
