I am 18 weeks pregnant and crave tater tots, pizza rolls, chicken fingers, bacon cheeseburgers, apple pie etc. I do eat some healthy things like salad, cereal, fruit, etc but for the most part it's junk food all the time. I take my prenatal vitamins every day. Did anybody else eat like this while they were pregnant?

Everyone indulges their cravings from time to time. don't worry so much about it but do look at your overall daily diet. Did you have at least 2 or 3 sevings of fruits and veggies? Any fiber or whole grains? What about some lean protien? If you got those 3 things in, good for you, indulge your cravings a little. If you didn't, try to do better tomorrow. that's all you can do!

I did the first time, but the second time I actually craved things that were good for me (go figure). The second time is when I started liking veggies. I think as long as you take your vitamins an TRY to eat healthy foods you can splurge if you need to. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but I have known too many women to eat what they want and have very healthy babies.

I did a little with my daughter. Subs, cheese fries, taco bell, pizza, steak with A-1 sauce, and donuts were big cravings. But I also took prenatal vitamins and ate lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I also gained like 60 pounds which I wouldn't want to do again. I lost it but it took about 8 months to lose all of it.

Enjoy eating fun while your pregnant just as long as you don't ignore all the other foods that are good for you, eat your 'junk food' in moderation and you should be fine. maybe try eating something healthy after eating junk food, like a piece of cheese or yogurt, as a dessert.

most women do. Its okay. Just dont put on too much weight too soon.

I found that tendancy to eat crap food passed as my pregnancy progressed.

Take your prenatal.

There are acutaly studies that prove that a mothers prenatal diet while pregnant does no effect the pregnancy (aside from complications frmo weight gain) and it especially doesnt effect the baby's health at birth.

You can google it. I sure did... while eating sausage sammich after sausage sammich.

remember what you eat, he eats. Typical weight gain for pregnancy is 12kg. If you are eating like a hog you'll gain much more and will be all that much more to lose after the baby is born. Do yourself a favor (and your husband) and try to eat in moderation!
