The lights are turned on, with a HUGE ceremony, on Thanksgiving night at 7 pm. It is such a big "deal" that many people rent rooms in the hotels on the Plaza, to watch the lighting ceremony from the balconies. The lights go off on January 14 (after the Epiphany).

I saw them this year and they turned on Thanksgiving at 7PM. I am sorry but I don not know when they turn off.

It's either the day before or the day after thanksgiving. I forgot. 7pm though.
