How is the cost of living in Alburquerque,NM?

I was offer a job in Alburqueque, NM for $20 an hour I was wondering how is the lifestyle in alburquerque?cost of living? is it boring?annoying? anything will help ohh by the way I live in Los Angeles,CA so im just trying to compare LA, CA and Alburquerque, NM.

I have lived in New Mexico my entire life. I have lived in Albuquerque for about 13 years now. Cost of living compared to other cities is pretty cheap. I went to San Diego a couple of years ago, everything was expensive, even the fast food joints were more. You can rent a 2 bedroom apartment for about $650 and up. It depends where you live. You can rent a decent house for about $1000. My husband and I haven't bought a house yet, so I can't really tell you how much it costs to buy a home. We rent a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, 24 sq.ft. home for $1095 a month. We both make about $40000 a year, and we seem to be doing pretty good.
Now as far as it being fun or boring.... its boring. Very boring. We're both from a small town, and we're fine, but everybody that I know that has lived other places think it sucks here. (like compared to Vegas, Miami, El Paso, Denver).
I don't know if its annoying. Could be I guess. But I would definately say come check it out, rent a room, for like a week before you move out here!

Theres no point of comparation. LA is better in all points. But Albuquerque is safe, warm and relax city better for Retire than for Live.
