write about the dark. or a ghost. or (something more cheerful) u can write about the sun or the little bits of sand. I wish i had ur homework.

This is not as hard as you think. The best thing to do is make it rhyme. What you are trying to write is a ballad. Think of some of the songs you like. They tell a story right?
This can really be about anything, all you need to do is make it short and make it rhyme. If you need more help then read "casey at bat" for an example of a ballad. That will help you get the idea.

Why do'nt you personalize your poem? Pick a story about a time or event in your life like love, friends, or a childhood memory, and write about it. Remember, you can change the events or outcome to make a better story. Hope I helped.
