What are some good multiplayer party games?

I'm looking for any great party games for any system really that I can play with a group at a party.

Preferably anything that involves 4 or more players.

socom can be multi player online
runescape is pretty good also, 2000 people play with u in one world

I know of a few good games you could use. I've learned that Mario Kart: Double Dash can be very addictive once you get more players to join in. Super Smash Bros. is also very entertaining. There's also Mario Party, Madden, NBA Street, or NFL Street. But if you are more into the FPS type games, you can consider Halo, some Tom Clancey games, Socom Navy Seals, etc. Hope that helps you out somehow.

If you have a Wii, thats your answer. The Wii has alot of great 4 player games. It also plays Gamecube games so you can play Super Smash Brothers Melee wich is awesome or Mario Party (theres like 9 of them). If you have a Playstation, your kind of out of luck (you could by a mulit tap but I dont know how much they cost), because it only has 2 controllers, and the PS3 doestn have many games. Maybe you could switch off. If you have Xbox or 360, you could play Halo or Fusion Frenzy.

I have to agree with most of these people, mario party is a great party game, or try super monkey ball, I haven't tried it but I've heard good things. Madden is always a favorite that never gets old. usually 4 people racing game, like double dash, great game.

Gears of War isn't 4 players, but it is soooooooooo kick @ss. Also Unreal Tournament is fun to play for PS2. I can't wait until 2007 comes out.
