Stepfather left mom a collection of collectable toy tractors when he passed away. Most are John Deere ERTLE tractors, but some are older including an early 1900's McCormick Derring Cast Iron Tractor in Excellent Condition. Mom wants to sell the collection but doesn't do e-bay and doesn't have a lot of time to sell these. Does anyone have a good suggestion for how she could best take care of this with the least work and the best results?

Go to an antique store or fair & check out the booths. You'll usually find at least one who specializes in antique toys. She should take a list of the tractors with her & maybe an antique dealer will buy them from her. If there isn't a dealer booth there the owner will know who to refer her to. Also ask the owner if he/she knows who can appraise the items.

Also, check the want ads for appraisers and the "Want to Buy" ads.
She could also put an ad in the paper once she knows their value.
