Is it possible to be a muslim american and get accepted by your society and work place?
Is it possible that americans will stop steriotyping muslims as terrorists when they see their fellow native americans changing into Islam?
Any other comments?

To Fraginal: Some muslims compare numbers! They look to the number of Iraqis killed because of the American invasion and number of Palestinian children killed by the Israeli army and compare them to the numbers killed in Terrorist attacks and say: they started it. May be dialogue is the best solution not (war on Terrorism).
Briang731 is an example of the muslim-haters who are potential terrorists. I wish he will not make it to the white house.

Is it possible these foolish people who embrace this devil worship, won't become a big @ss target of American society?

Take your idle worship back to iran where it breeds hatred and murder. We don't need it here! We don't need you or your suicide cells here either. So take your propaganda and feed the swine with it.

None of the above is possible, so quit wasting your time with it here in the US. China needs help, take your bullcrap there.

Yes it is possible. Christianity goes through harder persecution and Islam in the US. Americans dont stereotype Muslins as terrorists. However, I do not like the fact the Muslim leaders do not condemn suicide attacks publicly and do not condemn terrorism as Christian leaders do. Any suspicion can be linked to this.

Americans can be Muslims and could be accepted as good citizens. It is just sad to note that most terrorists are Muslims. Thus, in order for Islam to be more attractive to Americans, the fanatics must be weeded out from their ranks.

Yes to all three questions

However, please tell me what the difference is between an Ansar Shriner in the United States, as in the Deep South, and a member of the Ansar movement in the Middle East.

DIALOGUE

George W. Bush: Then I presume you are a Noble?*
Osama bin Laden: I am so accepted by all men of noble birth.*
George W. Bush: Have you traveled any?*
Osama bin Laden: I have.*
George W. Bush: From where to what place have you traveled?*
Osama bin Laden: Traveled east over the hot burning sands of the desert.*
George W. Bush: Where were you stopped at?*
Osama bin Laden: At the devil’s pass.*
George W. Bush: What were you requested to do?*
Osama bin Laden: I was requested to contribute a few drops of urine.*
George W. Bush: Why were you requested to do this?*
Osama bin Laden: As a token of my renouncing the wiles and evils of the world and
granted permission to worship at the Shrine.*
George W. Bush: At what Shrine did you worship?*
Osama bin Laden: At the Shrine of Islam.*
George W. Bush: Did you ride?*
Osama bin Laden: Yes, I rode a camel until I paused to dismount.*
George W. Bush: Then what did you do with your camel?*
Osama bin Laden: I tied him.*
George W. Bush: Where did you tie him?*
Osama bin Laden: I tied him to a date tree, where all True Shriners should do so.*
George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden together in unison: Yes, I pulled the Cord, rode the hump, I have traversed the hot arid sands of the desert to find Peace and rest in the quiet shades of the Oasis.*

Footnote:

* The Shriners’ Recognition Test

According to a manuscript of George Lauterer, founder of a Chicago-based corporation that specializes in Masonic regalia, this is how two Shriners recognize each other.

Please note that the name of Paul Wolfowitz, head of the World Bank, could be substituted for that of George W. Bush.

What is the point to all the squabbling?

I've known a few Muslims in my life, they've been pretty decent joes all told.

If they want to worship allah, what makes them any different from anyone else worshiping who or whatever. If it makes them happy, so be it. Just don't try to convert me, don't force me to be a present for your worship, and we'll all get along just fine.
