Hopefully you are not spending Christmas alone, if you are there are things you can do. Go out and buy some food for Christmas. Cook it Christmas day. Get some veggies, and buy a nice cake you would like. Buy one candle also.
Get up Christmas cook your food after it is done, reflect on where you are and where our soldiers are. Look around you, think how wonderful you have it. Perhaps you maybe alone but it will not be forever...things do change. Light your candle and say a Prayer to our soldiers far away allowing them and God to know you support them all.
I would say now it is o.k. to to sit down and eat. Turn on your t.v. and watch and think what a wonder day this is, our Jesus was bron on this special day.
Be very grateful for what you have.
God Bless you.

awww :(
You can have a great time on your own!! First of all, listen to Christmas music! There's usually a radio station playing Christmas music nonstop- whenever I'm in a bad mood, I just turn it on and listen, and it immediately cheers me up. Also, do things for others- maybe donate food to a charity for Christmas, or buy gifts for children who might not have gifts on Christmas otherwise. As for Christmas day itself, if there is absolutely NO ONE else you could spend the day with, and I'm sure there is, then I would recommend going into the city nearest you, assuming you live somewhat near a city. There's nothing like walking among people in a holiday spirit, enjoying shop windows, getting some hot cocoa or coffee and strolling along. That's what I would do, anyway- it could be quite cozy! I hope you have a merry Christmas!! :)

why do you have a holiday blues?
lack of company? celebrate with friends
no gifts? give a gift and you'll recieve a gift
Simply put, find a reason you have the holiday blues, and think of how you'd help someone else with the problem and apply the solution to you

Go around to the businesses that are open and act goofy, then run away. Keep doing this until the cops are called about some loon running all over town , then tell them you've no idea what they are talking about... "Me? Crazy?"

Pick up a few things and go volunteer at the local shelter or food cupboard. You'll be surrounded by people and they will put your time to good use.
Bless yourself by blessing others.
