I think JFK sent a strong message to Cuba, the U.S.S.R., and the world that America backs down to no threat. That was a popular Democratic Party policy then...why isn't it now? Our men and women in the military need to know that they have a job that MUST be finished, and that EVERYONE who calls themselves an American (or any member of the free world for that matter) supports them 100% REGARDLESS of their party affiliation!
