I gotta say it's San Andreas. There's just too much to do. I'm talkin skydiving, dogfighting with other jets, ride bikes, roll with your boys lookin for trouble, shoot, drive, swim, race, fight, get chased by cops, rob houses, rob people, fly choppers, boats, jetpacks, go to the casino, change clothes, hook up cars...and I could keep goin and still wouldn't be halfway finished!!! Now if only Rockstar would make a Star Wars game!

well...since the question is opinion, let's look at some facts.
Best selling console game of all-time is Super Mario Brothers having sold over 40 million units. However, this was mainly due to the fact that it was packaged with the NES. But, it also was voted best game ever by EGM and IGN in their editors poll.
My favorite game of all-time is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which is listed as the best rated game of all-time by Gamerankings and Gamestats.

My favorites are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Halo1, Halo2 and survival horror series. Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 1 the remake (forget the original), Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis and Resident Evil 4. You just got to love the survival horror games.
Resident Evil is the best, I was sick for five month after playing Resident Evil 3 Nemesis.

I think you cant say really. Its all based on opinions.
N64- Zelda Ocarina of Time (My favorite game of all time)
PS1- Final Fantasy 7 (Never played it, going by others opinions)
PS2- San Andreas (My other favorite game ever)
Gamecube- Super Smash Bros. Melee (My opinion though)
Xbox- Halo 1/2 (my other favorite games ever as well)
360- Gears of War or Oblivion (Cant decide)
So, those right there are what I think are the best console games ever. I cant decide for Wii or Ps3 because I dont own them and it wouldnt be fair. Those are just the systems I own or have owned.

Nah i would have to say Zelda Ocarania of Time or one of the Halo games. Zelda though is basically crazy awsome i love that game but now that i think about it FINAL FANTASY VII. that is the best console game ever Final Favtasy VII is a game i still play to this day.

My vote goes to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The game takes everything you know and love about the Zelda franchise and brings it into the next generation with mind blowing results. You owe it to yourself to play this game.

FF VII has my vote. There is even a full length movie sequal and a spin off game off this title. I would have to vote for the NES Mario Bros. out of total respect. Thats where it all started for me.
