I am not sure how you will be able to weight that amount of solids.

This is what you need to do. Prepare a 1 mM solution. You will be able to weight this amount.

1 mol = 4117.3 g
1 mmol = 4.1173 g

Put this in 1 liter, then take 1 ml and dilute to 1 liter, then take 1 ml of this solution and dilute to 1 liter. Then you will have a 1 nM.

4117.3 means in 1 mole there are 4117.3 grams. 1 nM is 1x10e-9 moles/liter of solution. If you take 1 nM of this material (4117.3/1x10e-9 or 0.0000041173 grams) and dissolve it in solvent to make 1 liter you have a 1 nM solution.

Good point Dr. J (brain freeze on my part)
