Where is he getting this information from? You can put a password on any account you have, from the phone company to your bank, from your cell phone bill to the electric bill. If you put passwords on your accounts, no one can access them without the password. I've done this for years.

I am a married person and I do not know how this person is doing this unless over the internet because in person the bank etc would need your signature. The other person could not say run your credit etc. I would talk with an atty that is number one, call the social security office and obtain a new number which canbe granted under these types of situations and tell this person any further actions on his or her part will create legal issues as you will pursue this legally. good luck and what a jerk doing this to you!

thats tough to beat because I am guessing he has your SSN. I work for a telecom and I know that if the customer has a social we will give them the info.
You can intruct your bank, ect only to use a pin number only for verication and they should be able to note that on your account. Just explain to them the situation and they can note it.

Well if no real harm was done (something stolen)
Why not say: SO WHAT?
and go bang your current spouse instead of fretting over the old one :)

You need to get proof. Not only it is illegal for him to obtain the info, but for them to give it out. Contact your bank, credit card companies, credit bureaus, etc. and tell them what he is doing. Tell them to verify with you before they give out any info to anybody. I have been married for 18 years and I still have problems retrieving info for my hubby but then there are other companies where it is so easy.
